Costume

Costume is an important factor within this performance because it highlights the diverse characters coming together and forming a unity. The colours chosen are representative of relationships and setting. For example bold colours such as red are indicative of being part of the nation. Moreover the colour white is a representation of a building relationship with Daphne.

- Young people breaking into the space wearing coats, bags, hoodies etc. bright colours representative of youthful age.
- Costume must be adaptable to character.
- Cahle is a pregnant woman/maternal figure.
- Colourful Face paint, makeup, tattoo's etc.

White Jeans are representative of my relationship with Daphne. Daphne is described to be in white therefore this representation highlights to the audience relationship and foreboding of the story line later to come in the play.

This tribal patterned cover up highlights my relationship with the nation. As part of the nation it is important to equally express colours and symbols throughout as this is a major contributing factor to the performance.
